Machine Gun Kelly
As Colson Baker in the year of his birth, Machine Gun Kelly is a popular American rapper who gained meteoric popularity due to his distinctive fashion and music. Best known for his rapid explosive lyrical flow which is also what gave him the stage nickname Machine Gun Kelly, MGK started his rap career while in high school. He soon earned a huge local fan base due to the production of several mixtapes. His biggest breakthrough came in his 2006 Stamp of Approval mixtape, which attracted many viewers. MGK's first mixtape was a massive success which gave him the confidence to pursue a career in the music industry. In the following years there were four more mixtapes. His career exploded in 2011 when he landed a recording contract for a record deal with Bad Boy, and Interscope Records. Following year was his debut album Lace Up was released to a positive reception from music critics. Debuting at number four on the US Billboard 200 chart, the album had popular singles such as Wild Boy, Invincible, Stereo, and Hold on (Shut up!). General Admission, his second album, released in the month of October 2015, debuted as number four on Billboard 200. It also placed first on the list of Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.
