Megan Gale
Gale was a winner of a modeling competition in Perth at the age of 18. Gale was a model for several years before she became known in 1999 when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) invited her to appear in adverts. The model continued working for the company up to 2006. In 2003, the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale's covers comprise of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ and Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale also appears in the editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia as well as Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has collaborated with Italian designers, such as Gianfranco Fere, Genny and Gai Mattiolo and has been on the runways of Mariella Burani, Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. 9 Gale has also been a big fan of numerous Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnston Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. She was also the fashion analyst at Australian TV's Logies awards in 2006. In January 2008, Gale announced her retirement of runway fashion after fifteen years and walked the catwalk one last moment a few days later at the David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. She wore the Wonder Woman costume she had planned to wear in the Justice League of America film, which was still being made. In March of 2011, Gale was back on the runway for Alex Perry's 2011 Melbourne Fashion Festival show.
